Cassy and Alex are two of the most genuinely in love people I've ever had the privilege of photographing. I was so excited for their wedding, in large part because of their undeniable chemistry.
They had their first look on the rooftop of their own apartment building in Vancouver, where the rain held off just long enough for us to get some stunning views of the city. We took a champagne fuelled walk from their building, to a crazy urban landscape for bridal party photos.
The ceremony was at the Vancouver Convention Centre, with some of the most beautiful window light I've ever seen. It was raw and emotional, and ended with an epic kiss and a dance back down the aisle.
The rain started just as we went out for bride and groom portraits with an ocean view, but it didn't phase them at all. Alex and two of his groomsmen surprised Cassy with a choreographed dance at the reception, and Cassy smashed some serious cake in his face. The night finished off with their favourite old school and different than your average wedding band, The Phonix.
It was an honour to work along side the incredibly talented Hello Tomorrow Wedding Films.
